Curses, we've been foiled. Again. And again. And again.

Our start has been delayed a bit because no one in town knows how to work on a grease car and some repairs are needed before we're able to leave.  We're taking it all as it comes though.  For now, the car sits in the driveway making our house smell like french fries.

This trip will happen.  Inshallah.

Yesterday our roof rack to transport all of the veggie oil came in the mail with infuriatingly impossible directions on how to put it together.  None of the pieces fit, especially not after Matt dented part of it with a hammer.  Bashing the roof rack violently with tools only added to the vocabulary of swear words already being used.

Pre-trip is probably the most blogging that anyone will actually see from us.

Almost There

First post in here.  

Matt and I leave in about two weeks for the summer and until then we're saving some more money and enjoying the lovely Flagstaff weather.  The car is in the shop undergoing repairs that will hopefully last us our entire trip, cross your fingers.

Adventure is calling us!
